JPEF TLI 2024-25

The Jacksonville Public Education Fund (JPEF) is invested in producing high quality educational experiences in Jacksonville’s public schools, targeting efforts on closing the opportunity gap for low-income students and students of color. JPEF’s current mission goals center around (1) informing and activating stakeholders, (2) inspiring and supporting high performing educators, and (3) aligning community assets in order to produce measurable results.

The 2024-2025 Teacher Leader Initiative immersed a cohort of Teacher Leaders in a series of instructional sessions on Design Thinking to provide an iterative methodology to solve challenges presented in the education space. Teacher Leaders chose a focus area, conducted observations and proceeded to implement a solution to a well-defined Design Challenge.
